On a night in 1957, Dr. Ted Lewis, an astronomer living in a small town in the Mojave Desert of California (played by Eric McGormack), was preparing a barbecue dinner to celebrate his wedding anniversary with his beloved wife, Lana (played by Jody Thompson), when he suddenly spotted a meteor falling from the sky and crashing onto a nearby hillside. The waitress at the local restaurant, Tammy (played by Jenni Baird), also witnessed the meteor. Ted went to investigate and discovered that the 'meteor' was actually an alien spaceship, and he was confronted by an alien named 'Upp'. With Tammy's help, Upp begins a frantic search for the one-eyed alien monster 'Gotta' that has escaped, but they are still unable to catch up with Gotta's speed of consuming humans. Even more terrifying, once Gotta starts to multiply at an exponential rate, the entire Earth could be plunged into irreparable danger.
