For the sake of her daughter, Rose (played by Radha Mitchell) came to a strange place with her child. Her daughter often sleepwalks, and despite searching through many doctors, Rose could not cure her daughter's condition. Although she became discouraged, she refused to give up on treating her daughter, as her daughter was the center of her life. When her daughter sleepwalked, she always mentioned a specific name, which led Rose to leave her husband (played by Sean Bean) and travel to a place called Silent Hill. Rose thought she would find the answer to cure her daughter's illness there, but the place turned out to be beyond her imagination. To make matters worse, her daughter mysteriously went missing at that time. This place is unlike a typical town, with suffocating fog filling the air. There are not many residents, but many strange creatures inhabit the area. Rose searched everywhere for her daughter but couldn't find any leads. Moreover, she frequently encountered unexpected events and unfamiliar phenomena. Gradually, she learned about the history of this place and discovered a secret...
