Since his wife passed away, Shangyuan (played by Ha Jung-woo) has become increasingly distant from his daughter, so he decides to move to the countryside with her to mend their relationship. However, even after the move, Shangyuan remains focused on his work and pays little attention to his daughter. She spends more time alone and begins to exhibit strange and unsettling behavior, while Shangyuan starts experiencing bizarre occurrences at home. One day, his daughter suddenly disappears without a trace in front of the wardrobe... No matter how hard Shangyuan searches, he cannot find any trace of his daughter. At this moment, a man named Qingxun (played by Kim Nam-gil) suddenly shows up and claims to know the secret of the wardrobe. To find Shangyuan's daughter, Qingxun insists that Shangyuan join him in venturing into the 'intermediate zone', and thus the two begin to uncover the dark truth hidden behind the wardrobe.
