In the heart of a national forest park in Norway, there is a cold and eerie inn. Twelve years ago, the couple running the inn and their children disappeared one after another, casting a veil of mysterious terror over the place, making it an excellent destination for young people seeking thrills and excitement. One day in 1988, six young people—Mag (played by Pal Stokka), Nat (played by Sturla Valldal Rui), Simon (played by Arthur Berning), Anders (played by Kims Falck-Jorgensen), Haida (played by Ida Marie Bakkerud), and Srey (played by Julie Rusti)—agreed to vacation in the mountains. The atmosphere of the inn made Srey feel uneasy, and under her strong insistence, everyone decided to abandon their plan to spend the night at the inn and instead camp by the lake.
