John Henry (played by the heroic O'Neill) is an expert in military metallurgy, responsible for the development of a new type of defense weapon: using "sound waves" to annihilate enemies without the need for a single blade or bullet. He collaborates with a mysterious high-level government research group, led by the astute female electronics expert, Stark. On the day of the weapon's testing, a moment of negligence by team member Sanner results in Stark becoming paralyzed from the waist down. Exhausted, John Henry decides to return to Los Angeles, leaving the world of weapons behind for good. However, peaceful life in LA does not last long; he discovers his weapon in the hands of a gang of robbers. It turns out that Sanner has left the government to sell the weapon at a high price to the world's most ruthless terrorists. John Henry must stop them before they succeed, and the first person he thinks of to help him is Stark, who is lying in the hospital...
