Monsters face their end, and the world of new humanity unfolds. The line between monsters and humans becomes increasingly blurred, and those struggling to survive are all faced with difficult choices. At the end of the previous season, the seemingly fated-to-die Lee Eun-hyeok (played by Lee Do-hyun) suddenly appears. In Season 3, faced with the conflicts arising from greed, the previously scattered characters will reunite: Cha Hyun-soo (played by Song Kang) awakens to find himself transformed into a monster; Byun Sang-wook (played by Lee Jin-wook) has his body occupied by Jung Yi-myeong; Seo Yi-kyung (played by Lee Shi-young) is in a half-human, half-monster state; Lee Eun-hyeok breaks out of the violently shaking cocoon of a monster; Lee Eun-yoo (played by Ko Min-si) relentlessly continues to search for her brother Eun-hyeok; Private Park Chan-young (played by Jung Jin-young) returns to the field; Sergeant Jang In-hwan (played by Yoo Seung-mok) still conceals the fact that he is showing symptoms of becoming a monster; Dr. Lim (played by Oh Jung-se) shows an unusual interest in monsterization; Sergeant Kim Yeong-hoo (played by Kim Woo-seok) meets new survivors on the island; and a girl (played by Kim Ji-eun) who has the ability to turn others into monsters makes her appearance.
