Tokyo, a world-renowned metropolis. After breaking up with her boyfriend, Sarah (played by He Chao-Yi) comes to this place seeking to buy a house for starting a family and to spend a brief and peaceful vacation, but everything goes awry. Due to the sudden visit of the American president to Tokyo, her originally booked hotel is fully booked. A real estate company places her in a very old, dilapidated, and eerie private lodging called 'minipaku.' When Sarah checks in, she finds that it's operated by an elderly woman (played by Kawakami Kazuko). On her first night there, she feels extremely uneasy and terrified, plagued by nightmares, and falls ill, forced to stay longer. To her shock, she discovers a complete skeleton being devoured by parasites. The senior inspector at the police station (played by Takahashi Kazuya) takes over the investigation and also finds that this inn is involved in multiple bizarre missing person cases. Strange occurrences continue, and the inspector is unable to unravel the mystery for Sarah. This house, with its very mysterious power and unknown history, seems to have a connection with Sarah. When the lights of the 'minpaku' go out, terrifying and unsettling scenes engulf her, becoming increasingly real. One nightmare after another, leaving her in doubt whether this is a beginning or an end, as if everything has been predetermined.
