The film is a modern noir film about a sarcastic detective with a gin-smelling scent of ginseng while stalking a mysterious middle-aged man.The man is traveling from Chicago to Los Angeles with a Mexican boy.John Rosso is a Chicago detective, and his ability to solve cases is often accompanied by the price; he likes to be stubborn, but never loses his calmness.Rosso received an invitation from influential lawyer Drexler Hewitt and was ordered to track a man who was taking a little boy to Los Angeles.Miss Charlie, Hewitt's rude assistant, gave him cash and instructions, and then began his latest mission.However, upon arrival in Santa Monica, Rosso caught off guard and learned that his target had been updated.He is now bringing the man back to New York.In return, Rosso will receive a generous reward of $500,000.
