This film is adapted from Richard von Krafft-Ebing's infamous medical book "Sexual Psychopathia" or translated as "Psychopathia Sexualis".
Ebin once used traditional clinical psychiatric methods to collect cases of various sexual perverts and systematically organize and classify them.Since its publication in 1886, until Ebin's death in 1902, the book has been reprinted every year.
