The story continues right from the previous installment. Lara (played by Lana Condor) and Peter (played by Noah Centineo) have finally confessed their feelings for each other and gotten together, and they are both excitedly preparing to celebrate their first Valentine's Day together. For this new couple, everything they will experience afterwards is both enjoyable and challenging; Lara, who has never gone through anything like this before, can't help but feel anxious. Kitty (played by Anna Cathcart), Margot (played by Janel Parrish), and their new friend Stormy (played by Holland Taylor) are Lara's strongest support, but Lara sometimes wonders if she is too reliant on them. When John (played by Jordan Fisher) reappears in Lara's life, he brings many uncertainties to her relationship with Peter.
