Synopsis

Zhou Xiaolong (played by Stephen Chow) lives in Tai O with his father Zhou Feihong (played by Yuen Wah), and he and his junior, Maomao (played by Siu-Ming Mok), are a pair of innocent adversaries. One day, Xiaolong's master uncle, Mao Ren (played by Leung Ka-Yan), comes to Tai O to escape his debts. Feihong asks A-Ren to take his son Xiaolong to Hong Kong for development, and A-Ren unexpectedly discovers Xiaolong's superb billiards skills, deciding to use him for gambling. The gangster Long Ge sets his sights on the Zhou family's land in Tai O and demands that A-Ren use the land as a bet. Xiaolong faces tremendous pressure against the opponent's world-class expert and loses the match. To encourage Xiaolong, Maomao puts her own land on the line as a bet, determined to win back her land, but the pressure still haunts Xiaolong, and the competition falls behind at one point...
