During the Ming Dynasty, undercover agent Zero feared his wife like a tiger and was wholeheartedly loyal to his country; unfortunately, he was never assigned a mission during his undercover career. His wife, Xue'er, a descendant of Gui Gu Zi, had a slight understanding of divination and was perceptively sharp, albeit a little neurotic. One day, Zero was dispatched by his superior Li Yi to the brothel 'Yingchun Pavilion' to investigate the harm caused by aphrodisiacs. Zero felt it was a waste of his talents, but reluctantly agreed. When he returned home to tell Xue, she was furious, believing it was no trivial matter. She decided to conduct a divination for him and learned that the mission had some risks. After much pleading from Zero, Xue finally agreed for him to go. After much contemplation, Zero decided to leave the book 'Yuputang' behind in the brothel. Fang, upon learning that an outsider had mixed in, went to find out what was going on. Zero found it difficult to explain himself and ultimately agreed to name the female lead in the book after Fang to extricate himself. Inside 'Yingchun Pavilion', Zero had to please everyone, document their crimes, resist temptations from Zhu and Yun, worry about the repercussions of Xue's divination, and face pressure from his superior, keeping him extremely busy, filled with sweetness, bitterness, blood, and tears.
