Paramount+ has officially ordered "Happy Face," adapted from the podcast of the same name. If it is produced into a series, it may be available on Paramount+ (CBSAA will be renamed next year). The creators of "The Good Fight," the Kim couple, are collaborating with "The Judge" writer Jennifer Cacicio, who leads the writers' room for the show. The podcast tells the story of Melissa Moore, who discovered at the age of 15 that her father, Keith Hunter Jesperson, was a serial killer, earning the nickname "Happy Face" for drawing smiley faces in letters to the media and prosecutors. As an adult, Moore changed her last name and cut all ties with her incarcerated father. However, when he reached out to her, claiming that there were more victims, she became embroiled in an extraordinary investigation into her father's crimes, the impact on the families of the victims, and ultimately coming to terms with her own identity. Moore has also written a book about her experiences called "Shattered Silence."
