This film is set against the backdrop of the Vietnam War and depicts and exposes the brutal crimes of the U.S. military during the war. It also expresses the director's hatred for war and a deep appreciation and call for peace. Allison is a newly recruited soldier stepping onto the battlefield in Vietnam, full of passion to serve his country. During a mission, he accidentally falls into an ambush by the Viet Cong, but is saved by his comrade, Massou. In a long-range reconnaissance mission, Massou and others forcibly seize Vietnamese girls to satisfy their animalistic desires. Allison watches helplessly as a Vietnamese girl is brutally raped to death, and feeling righteous anger, he begins to lose faith in his compatriots. He decides to expose his colleagues' crimes, regardless of his own safety...
