This drama is adapted from Nick Hornby's novel "Funny Girl". Set against the colorful backdrop of the 1960s, the protagonist Barbara Parker has just been crowned "Miss Blackpool", but she feels there is more to her life than being a beauty queen in a seaside town. Thus, drawn by the dazzling allure of London, Barbara sets off on a journey to explore her future. However, London is not as exciting as she had imagined from television and books.
