The protagonist, Katsuragi Tsutomu, who lost his parents, lives with his only remaining relatives, his brother and sister-in-law. In his mundane daily life, he is forced to help at the flower shop run by his caring sister-in-law, Katsuragi Mai. One day, while thinking about his busy brother who is often away on business, he accidentally witnesses Mai engaging in an affair. After witnessing this, Tsutomu’s feelings for Mai intensify, and a drunken Mai seduces him. They spend a dreamy night together, but afterward, Mai treats it merely as a one-night stand. Unable to forget about Mai, Tsutomu confesses his feelings for her.
