The show is set against McNamara-Troy, a plastic surgery center in South Florida, and revolves around two bosses at the center.Sean McNamara (Dylan Walsh) is in trouble at home, trying to reunite his family, trying to make up for the ups and downs he and his wife Julia (Jolie Richardson).On the other hand, the sexually-heavy Christian Troy (Julian McMahon) uses his charm to attract potential female candidates and engage in shameful business, often out of a love of money.Although Sean takes his work seriously, he often has to correct Christian’s mistakes.In season one, Sean and Christian mingle with Colombian drug lord Escobar Galado, who forces both to undergo free surgery at any time.Sean and Julia's marriage begins to break down, and Sean has an affair with a patient named Megan O'Hara.Julia returns to school but is interrupted by a miscarriage of the child Sean and Julia want.Christian learns that he has a child with a woman named Gina whom he met at an anonymous sex addiction meeting.When the child was born, we learned that the child was African American and therefore not his.Julia questioned Matt's fatherhood
