Based on the bestselling memoir "Call the Midwife" by Jennifer Worth, the BBC series "Call the Midwife" tells the life experiences of a group of midwives in the East End of London during the 1950s and 60s. The eighth season continues to explore the complex medical situations and stories in the midwives' workplace.
