Li Boren (played by Ekin Cheng) is a croupier at a Macau casino. Due to his exceptional skills, he has been winning at his table for two years and has never lost. However, Boren is not content with being a small-time player; he hopes to one day go to Las Vegas and make a name for himself. Yet, when he shares this dream with his companions, he is met with ridicule. Just at that moment, he is also abandoned by his girlfriend. At a dead end, he asks his companion to lend him money from the safe as gambling capital. Initially, his companion refuses, but he is eventually moved by Boren's passionate speech and takes the risk. They arrive in the gambling city, and everything seems to be going well, but at the final round, they are defeated by a long-haired man. Disheartened, Boren faces a series of unfortunate events. After an accident, Boren wakes up in the hospital, where he meets the beautiful investigator Tina (played by Cecilia Cheung) who is in charge of the case. During their interactions, Boren reveals the true nature of Tina's boyfriend, leading to their breakup. Meanwhile, their fates unexpectedly change due to the Red Fan Turning Stone...
