Zeus has always enjoyed the status of king of the gods. Until one morning, he woke up to find a wrinkle on his forehead. Neurosis began to take hold, leading him down a dangerous and paranoid path. Zeus was certain that his downfall was imminent and began to see signs of it everywhere. Zeus's once dependable brother, Hades, the god of the underworld, was secretly loosening his grip on the dark world. A multitude of the dead awaited processing, growing restless. Hera, the queen of the gods (played by Jenny McTeer), ruled the Earth and Zeus in her own unique way. But her power and freedom were threatened by Zeus's increasing paranoia, forcing her to take action. Zeus's rebellious son, Dionysus (played by Nabhaan Rizwan), was losing control and was about to clash with his father in a cataclysmic confrontation. On Earth, people yearned for change, yet Poseidon (played by Cliff Curtis), the god of the sea, storms, earthquakes (and warhorses), was more concerned about the size of his super yacht and the location of the next party. He had no interest in the welfare of mortals. Unfortunately for the gods, some mortals had started to realize this...
