On the streets of New Orleans, news of a mysterious new pill begins to spread, a pill that can unlock each user's unique superpower. But the problem is: before taking it, no one knows what will happen after using the drug. Some people will develop bulletproof skin, invisibility, and superhuman strength, while many others will exhibit more lethal reactions. However, when the pill causes crime in the city to escalate to dangerous levels, local police officer (played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt) teams up with a teenage street vendor (played by Dominique Fishback) and a vengeful veteran (played by Jamie Foxx) to confront the situation head-on, risking taking the pill themselves to track down and stop the team that is producing it.
