The story unfolds in Shanghai during a period of rapid economic development, where four girls - Lin Xiao (played by Yang Mi), Gu Li (played by Guo Caijie), Nan Xiang (played by Guo Biting), and Tang Wanru (played by Xie Yilin) - live, study, work, and grow in this beautiful and fashionable city.
