A rare meteor shower is about to appear in the skies over Russia, and young men and women are incredibly excited, flocking to the streets to witness this historic moment. Beautiful girl Yulia (played by Irina Starshenbaum), despite her military father's objections, insists on dating Tem (played by Alexander Petrov). On the day of the meteor shower, they hide away to enjoy their time together, unaware that a tremendous crisis is approaching. An alien spaceship suffers an accident and is subsequently shot down by the Russian Air Force. As it crash-lands, it causes devastating damage to Moscow, and Yulia's best friend dies in the disaster. After that, Yulia and her friends break into a restricted area, where they encounter aliens. By an unfortunate turn of events, she decides to rescue the severely injured alien pilot Hank (played by Rinal Mukhametov), while Tem and others harbor a deep hatred for the disaster brought by the aliens.
