Chen Yanzu (played by Xu Shaoyang) is an international police officer. When he was a child, he became separated from his younger brother, and all he has left of his brother are precious old photographs he keeps on hand. While fighting crime, Chen Yanzu has not given up on finding out his brother's whereabouts. Chen Weizu (played by Lin Zhiying) and Asu (played by Pu Pu) are pursued by the police. After being captured, Asu sees an old photograph on Chen Yanzu's desk and is shocked to find that Chen Weizu has the same photo; it turns out that Chen Weizu is Chen Yanzu's brother. Unbeknownst to him, Chen Weizu accidentally kills Chen Yanzu's partner, Wu Panying (played by An Ya). An enraged Chen Yanzu vows to personally bring Chen Weizu to justice. When Chen Weizu learns the truth of the incident, he decides to turn himself in to the police, while Chen Yanzu remains completely unaware of the situation.
