"Max Steel" was once a globally popular boy action figure produced by Mattel and was also adapted into a television animated series. The story of this live-action movie version is original by Christopher Yost, the screenwriter of "Thor: The Dark World." The story follows 16-year-old Max, who lives with his mother in a small town. His scientist father mysteriously died shortly after his birth. Max possesses a form of super energy that he cannot control until he encounters an alien named Steel with advanced technology, through whom he learns to harness it. Thus, "Max Steel" is born!
