 Synopsis
Jacques Mesrine was a famous thief in France in the late 1970s, having committed multiple armed robberies and murders, and he was also a notorious escapee. He was skilled at disguising himself and mingled in crowds with different appearances, earning him the nickname 'the Man of a Thousand Faces.' After 18 months of bloody evasion, he was shot dead by the SWAT team on November 2, 1979, in Porte de Clignancourt, Paris. This film recounts Mesrine's early experiences, starting from the Algerian War in 1959 when he served on the battlefield, marking the 'end of his innocent period' and turning him into an 'anarchist and a discontented individual.' The sequel, 'Public Enemy No. 1' (MESRINE: L’ENNEMI PUBLIC No. 1), will be released on November 19. Rated R.
