A famous painter held an art exhibition in New York, but unexpectedly, the exhibited masterpiece was stolen. The fingers of suspicion pointed towards the notorious thief Mike (Sean Connery). Mike has a reputation as a skilled art thief, and all evidence surrounding the theft of the masterpiece indicated that he was the prime suspect. In order to convict him, the insurance company for the painting decided to use seduction as a strategy—an employee named Virginia (Catherine Zeta-Jones) posed as Mike's accomplice to lure him into committing a crime, while the insurance company would track and collect evidence. However, Mike managed to avoid their traps each time and even developed feelings for Virginia. When Virginia learned about the Y2K bug invading computers, she tempted Mike to exploit this opportunity to hack into an international bank in Malaysia that is known for its strict security, claiming to be the most secure in the world. A battle of wits and courage began, and Virginia found herself torn between loyalty to her company and helping her lover.
