The White House, secretly codenamed "Olympus" by the Secret Intelligence Agency, is currently in crisis, a group of terrorists first attacked the place with heavy planes and machine guns, and then sent a group of death squads to enter, they completely occupied the US presidential palace, hijacked the US president, and used it as a threat in a vain attempt to control the world pattern.
Mike Banning (Gerard Butler), who is sitting in the clerk's office, survives the attack. Banning was originally a special forces soldier responsible for the safety of the first lady and the president of the United States (Aaron Eckhart). But during a Christmas routine, his job went awry, causing the death of the first lady. Later, Banning was transferred to civilian work.
