Sarah (played by Sarah Bolger) has lost her husband, leaving her with a son and a daughter to raise alone. Enduring immense grief and heavy financial pressure, Sarah can only hold on through sheer determination. To make matters worse, her son witnessed his father's death, an enormous blow that rendered him mute, which was like adding insult to injury for Sarah.Tito (played by Andrew Simpson) is a local thug who, seeing that Sarah is all alone, uses threats and coercion to force her to help him hide drugs. During an accident, Sarah's son discovers and destroys the drugs, causing Tito, who faces significant losses, to angrily attempt to assault Sarah. Unable to bear this man's oppression any longer, Sarah ultimately decides to fight back, and her retaliatory actions quickly trigger a series of repercussions in the local community.
