Psychopath Diary

The drama tells the story of Lu Dongzhi, a kind-hearted and soft-hearted man who is always bullied and ignored. He suffers in silence, unable to express his grievances, which ultimately leads him to choose suicide. Ironically, the place where he attempts suicide turns out to be the crime scene of a serial killer. He is frightened away but ends up getting struck by a car on the road, waking up with amnesia. In place of his lost memories, he suddenly finds a diary in his hand. The diary contains all the criminal evidence against the perverted murderer. Due to various coincidences, Lu Dongzhi mistakenly believes that he is the owner of the diary and thinks he is the perverted murderer. Yoon Si-yoon plays Lu Dongzhi, who is a low-level fund manager working at a securities company, responsible for various chores for several years. He is timid and soft-hearted, which leads to him being easily taken advantage of. He cannot refuse unreasonable requests, and it’s only when his superior has nowhere to vent their anger that they remember him. His peers have already been promoted, and even the newcomers in the company look down on him. Yet, he has never been angry and is indeed the epitome of a good person in the truest sense. Jung Eun-ji plays the female police officer Shim Bo-kyung, who possesses inherent talent but is always overlooked. She dreams of becoming a profiler, but in reality, she is on patrol and has never even touched the case files that could be classified as actual cases.
