Guan Er's friend, Da Bai, rushes in to rescue Qian Mi but gets injured, informing them that since a being called Ghost Doctor arrived in the Upper Netherworld, there have been rampant zombie captures and an attempt to refine them into corpse elixirs. To save him, they must participate in the 'King of Ghosts Competition' to win a chance to enter the Upper Netherworld. Guan Er and the others arrive at the challenge arena, discovering many foreign ghosts and ghost trainers. Here, zombies are shockingly the lowest level of spirits, and an outraged Qian Mi jumps onstage to battle a zombie clown, defeating it with the cooperation of two others. Meanwhile, Qian Mi gets separated from Guan Er and is led by the rabbit demon A Ling, whom he saved before, into the Upper Netherworld. As Guan Er searches for Qian Mi, he is captured by the ghostly axe and thrown into a dungeon, where he meets Da Bai and Qian Tongpan. A Ling and Qian Mi successfully defeat a ghost resembling Sadako in a mountain village, gaining a chance to advance. Qian Mi and A Ling go to the dungeon to rescue people but encounter the demon nun Valak. Qian Mi cannot match her strength directly, but ultimately manages to seal Valak using Qian Tongpan's zombie child's urine. However, Qian Mi suffers a severe injury from Valak and falls into a coma..."
