Lin Binghao (played by Han Seok-kyu) is a major in the People's Army. During the turmoil of the Korean Peninsula and the continuous wars, he managed to reach South Korea in search of effective intelligence. However, South Korea was highly suspicious of his identity and subjected him to severe and ruthless interrogation. After much difficulty, he finally became an employee of the South Korean Security Department. He was responsible for training spies and analyzing war intelligence obtained from North Korea.During his tenure, he faced many cold stares and suspicions, but he persevered to gain the trust of the South Korean government. Eventually, he succeeded and began providing effective intelligence to North Korea.Soon, he received a task from North Korea, where he needed to relay important information to another North Korean spy in South Korea, Yoon Soo-mi (played by Go Soo-young). They successfully completed their mission, but Lin Binghao's identity was soon discovered by South Korea, putting him in a very dangerous situation.
