After many years of service, the principal of a suburban high school finally steps down, and the ambitious vice principal Neil Gamby (played by Danny McBride) and Lee Russell (played by Walton Goggins) both set their sights on the now-vacant principal’s seat, only to face an unexpected new opponent, Dr. Belinda Brown (played by Kimberly Hebert Gregory). The two, who are like fire and water, temporarily set aside their grievances and form an alliance, determined to do whatever it takes to take down the outsider.
