Saya Kaoru (played by Mitsuki Takahata) is an ordinary working woman, the only difference being that her luck seems to always be very bad. One day, after experiencing a whole day of unfortunate events, Saya returns to her apartment feeling exhausted, only to find a strange man lying outside her door. This man is named Aki (played by Takanori Iwata), and at his request, the kind-hearted Saya takes in the homeless Aki. Thus, under these unclear circumstances, Saya begins her first cohabitation with a man. Aki is a very peculiar man; his greatest hobby is doing housework. He enjoys taking Saya outdoors to search for edible plants, bringing them back to make delicious food. During this process, Saya discovers that her broken heart is gradually being healed.
