 Synopsis
Gender, politics, and American civilization form a combustible mix today and in the future. Angela (Shari Solanis) is an undocumented Latina immigrant living in Los Angeles who discovers Bill (James Wortham), a disgraced banker on the run. She needs him. Through passionate sexual experiences, seeking soulful conversations from politics to philosophy and other mundane pleasures, Bill leads Angela into another world. Their work heats up, and Bill's life takes an unexpected turn. This film is a directorial concept that examines violence in our culture in America and our Puritanical responses to any issues involving sexual inclination. Understanding philosopher William's concept of a repressive society transforming into a violent person, Diaz presents a raw sexual narrative that challenges the notion that sexual media is harmful.
