Michel Côté plays Germain, a government worker whose daughter, Nathalie (played by Karine Vanasse), is about to go to university in Montreal. Despite the fact that it's only a few hours drive away, Germain and his wife are still worried. Nathalie's university life encounters setbacks: a young man connected to her is murdered in a house filled with drugs and pornographic videotapes, and her friend Angelique turns to the adult industry to make a living. Influenced by this, Nathalie, who seeks to break free from her family's constraints, soon finds herself in a relationship with Luc, the owner of a pornographic website, and prepares to make films for his site. By coincidence, a preview video is seen by her father. Germain, keeping this from his wife, rushes to Montreal to try to stop things from escalating. He pretends to bring a project to Luc while suppressing his anger, gradually becoming involved in the behind-the-scenes operations of the pornographic website to wait for the right moment. When homicide investigators visit, it brings the family closer together than ever before, and the truth is even more shocking. This film won the Best Supporting Actress award at the 2008 Canadian Jutra Awards.
