Detective Dee

The TV series "Detective Dee" consists of three independent yet interrelated stories: "The Ghost of the Envoy," "The Blue Shirt Case," and "The Blood-Soaked Eagle." "The Ghost of the Envoy" tells the story set during the reign of Wu Zetian, after the war with the Turks has ended, as the nation prepares to welcome the Turkic diplomatic mission. However, during the envoy's stay, several shocking cases occur in the capital that alarm the entire country. The serious internal and external troubles cause Wu Zetian (played by Lv Zhong) great distress, leading her to urgently summon Detective Dee (played by Liang Guanhua) to the capital to quickly solve the cases. In "The Blue Shirt Case," Detective Dee and his guard Li Yuanfang (played by Zhang Zijian) are secretly investigating the situation in the countryside when they become intrigued by a case involving two murders occurring on the same day. "The Blood-Soaked Eagle" introduces a blood-painted eagle that reveals deeper mysteries. This historical detective mystery series "Detective Dee" has released four installments, each packed with suspense and gripping plots. "Detective Dee 5" is set to meet the audience in 2014. The series not only blends intricate and mysterious plots with terrifying visual elements but also incorporates romantic storylines, such as the love between Li Yuanfang and Di Ruoyan, the teacher-student bond between Detective Dee and Zeng Tai, and the relationship between Wu Zetian and Detective Dee, adding emotional depth to the thrilling cases.
