At the 2019 International Rail Transit Technology Exhibition, core members of the Jiangche Group R&D team, Li Yanfon, Lin Zhenyi, and Tan Jingzhou, made a high-profile appearance with the latest high-speed train model, "Jiangcheng Star." Rewinding back to the rapid development of high-speed rail in 2015, after more than two years of stalled joint venture negotiations with the Menzel Company, Jiangche Group decided to have the project team led by Lin Zhenyi conduct test runs three months in advance to secure the order from Leinsi. Meanwhile, due to a twist of fate, Li Yanfon, who was studying at Leinsi University, became the driver for the test runs and recognized that the head of the Leinsi test run team was his childhood crush, Lin Zhenyi. However, the test run failed, leading Li Yanfon to follow Lin Zhenyi back to China, while Lin Zhenyi was infatuated with Tan Jingzhou, the young leader of Jiangche. After returning to China, Li Yanfon secretly helped Lin Zhenyi complete the repair of the locomotive and assisted Jiangche in repairing the Shanghai urban rail train. At the same time, Tan Jingzhou engaged in a war of wits with Menzel's representatives, who questioned Jiangche's use of Menzel's technology known to Li Yanfon to repair the Shanghai urban rail train, proposing non-competition addendums that were unacceptable to Tan Jingzhou and Jiangche. In urgent need of proving their value, Jiangche employees, led by Lin Zhenyi, took on the order for high-speed train manufacturing from Yunlai Country, with Li Yanfon following in pursuit of love. Yunlai Country had a hazardous and humid environment that was not suitable for high-speed train operations, and to successfully secure the order, Li Yanfon and Lin Zhenyi overcame numerous difficulties, achieving not only technological breakthroughs but also hinting at the budding of their feelings for each other. After the events of the Leinsi test run, the Yunlai Country order, and emergency repairs of subway locomotives, Jiangche Group made the firm decision to cease joint venture negotiations with Menzel and resolutely pursue self-developed research. The Yunlai Country project finally succeeded after many difficulties, significantly enhancing the international reputation of China's Jiangche locomotive technology and attracting international attention. At this point, a bigger challenge lay ahead for Jiangche - to fully realize train speed increase (Jiangcheng Star), gathering outstanding researchers from various fields together to overcome technological challenges, successfully breaking through problems related to bogie technology, motor technology, and other global locomotive technological innovations, achieving a significant speed increase for our country's trains, and progressively elevating Jiangche's high-speed rail to the peak of the global technological stage, proving the impressive strength of China's independent research and development technology to the world.
