 Synopsis
Although Carl Allan (played by Jim Carrey) is over thirty and has no worries about food and clothing, his life is a complete failure. He divorced his wife three years ago and has been living a single life ever since. He works at a bank, but basically, he is just going through the motions, with no hope of promotion. In life, he refuses to socialize and would rather stay home watching movies, as if his entire life is shrouded in gray fog. On a friend's suggestion, Carl goes to an organization called 'Yes Man' for counseling. Under the guidance of mentor Terrence (played by Terence Stamp), he tries to answer every question in life with a positive response. This small change turns Carl's life upside down as honor, money, opportunities, and love come pouring in. Just when he feels fully confident, he realizes that life is not as simple as he thought... This film is adapted from the autobiographical book of the same name by British comedian and writer Danny Wallace and won the 2009 MTV Award for Best Comedic Performance (Jim Carrey).
