Jesse Page, a former criminal, wants to reform himself, but has problems with his former inmate Larry.Larry wants Jesse to help his friend with drug dealing.But when the deal fails, the thugs who try to blackmail them are eventually killed, Jesse and others are forced to flee.Jesse and Larry hid in a shabby motel in the California desert and Jesse decided to change her mind and go to Detroit to join his band.But with Larry's stalking, there are more complications, as well as quirky motel owner Edsell and his crazy ex-stripper wife Hester, while drug dealers start slowly approaching them all.
