Young Ah Ben (played by Leung Han-man) attempts to find the most famous assassin, Wolf Warrior, through the internet and finally gets an introduction from Wolf Warrior's partner, Uncle Wei (played by Wong Tze-wah). In front of the sleeping Wolf Warrior, Uncle Wei narrates stories from their youth - during a time of war, a stranger named Feng Wen-xuan (played by Donnie Yen) arrives in Ah Wei's small village, suffering from amnesia. Ah Wei guides Feng, but they encounter mountain bandits along the way. Feng Wen-xuan unleashes a deadly force against the bandits, impressing Ah Wei, who then becomes his disciple. The bandits, however, are relentless in their pursuit of Feng Wen-xuan. When Feng is gravely injured, he reunites with his old lover, Hui Yi (played by Li Ruo-tong), thanks to Ah Wei, and recovers his lost memories, realizing that he was once part of the bandits. The increasingly brutal killings put him and his lover in grave danger. After hearing their stories, Ah Ben does not change his mind and reveals his true purpose for seeking Feng Wen-xuan...
