It tells the rise of the biblical figure David, who ultimately became the most renowned king of Israel. The play focuses on the once powerful King Saul, who fell into decline due to his own arrogance. Guided by God, the prophet Samuel anointed a humble and neglected youth as the new king. As Saul gradually loses control of the kingdom, David embarks on a journey to explore and fulfill his destiny, experiencing trials of love, loss, and violence in the court of the king he is destined to replace.
