A new adaptation of the classic mystery novel by Edogawa Rampo, which was originally made into a movie in 1998 under the direction of Shigeo Akutagawa. This is a new sensual suspense film. The owner of a buckwheat noodle shop dies mysteriously at D Hill. Although the police determine it to be suicide, the famous detective Kogoro Meiji and his wife Fumiyo believe it to be murder and begin their own investigation. Ultimately, the chilling loves and hates, as well as intense desires among those connected to the incident, come to light. Featured in the series [Mysterious Beauty Series: The Story of Shoko] published in Weekly Post, Shoko, whose detailed background has not yet been revealed, stars in this film.
