University student Sanako Nishimura (played by Yuri Shinomiya) was venting her frustrations about her unsuccessful job search to a boy friend she only knew online, without ever having seen his face. In the midst of their trivial conversations, she learned that her high school friend Mami (played by Miku Abe) was working as an online idol.
