Along the way, she encounters a café lady who claims to know her; she is attacked at a gas station, where the staff say no one attacked her but they had seen her the night before; while driving at night, she meets a police officer who also claims to have seen her; the hotel she stays at has her registered from the previous day. A man from her one-night stand tricks her into taking her car, and when she finds the car, she discovers a corpse in the trunk. The one-night stand man catches up to her, saying the corpse was there before he stole the car, and he has a gun. She becomes more and more confused but is knocked unconscious. Is she going crazy? Or is there a deeper conspiracy?
