Based on Hemingway's novel "The Killers," Korean directors completed a short film collection project from different perspectives and styles. The novel tells the story of two hired killers who arrive at a bar during the 1920s, when Prohibition was in effect, depicting the landscape of the Great Depression in America. Since the planning of this project, director Lee Myung-se, who participated as the overall creative force, expressed: "By having directors of this era view Hemingway's short story 'The Killers' from different perspectives, the reinterpreted killer stories converge into a single work. Centered around the material of 'The Killers,' the actors and artistic works are organically connected together, making this not a collection of individual pieces, but a unique work as a complete whole."
