"Gan Nan 1934" is personally written by Wen Yanxia, the vice chairman of the Jiangxi Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the vice chairman of the Provincial Writers' Association. The play is set against the backdrop of the revolutionary war in the red communist Soviet area over 70 years ago, telling the story of Fang Mengpao, the head of a red army hospital who stayed behind in enemy territory, and his pregnant wife Hong Yun, as they lead red army soldiers to protect the wounded soldiers by any means possible. The intense and brutal struggles in the play, filled with complicated love and emotional entanglements, evoke deep reflections and tears, making it a uniquely styled main theme film.
