Although the two try to deny it fervently, they end up revealing themselves at the last moment and are sent to jail by the police. To Hung and Mak's surprise, Ka-ka turns out to be a counselor in the prison, creating an ironic situation that makes Hung furious. In their cell, they encounter a tyrannical inmate. To escape from this predicament, they do not hesitate to insult the prison warden. After some time in jail, the two, along with their inmate friend Kwan Yan (played by Hu Dawei), are released. However, they quickly resume their old ways, scamming for food and drinks, and end up incarcerated again, this time encountering a good-looking young punk named Wing (played by Leslie Cheung), who loves to act like a cop.
