Ig Perrish (played by Daniel Radcliffe) and Merrin Williams (played by Juno Temple) are a pair of childhood sweethearts, but a year ago, their lives were turned upside down. While they were dating in the forest, Merrin was brutally murdered. After that, Ig was investigated by the police as a suspect, but he was ultimately released without charges. After regaining his freedom, Ig finds it hard to forget Merrin, and the accusations and doubts from those around him cause him immense pain. On a night of mourning for Merrin, Ig, filled with rage and humiliation, commits a blasphemous act. The next morning, he is shocked to discover that he has grown a pair of devil's horns, and it seems that anyone who comes near him begins to behave strangely, and upon contact, they can glimpse into each other's inner worlds. Distressed, Ig consequently uncovers the hidden truths behind Merrin's murder and the real killer.
