Moriya Shitaki (played by Yui Aragaki) has had an unsuccessful career path since graduating from graduate school, and recently she has been unfortunately fired, leaving her in a state of being 'unemployed.' Life has become very miserable for her. Through her father's introduction, with nowhere to go, Shitaki arrives at the home of a single man named Hiramasa Tsuzaki (played by Gen Hoshino) to manage household chores, thus making the 25-year-old Shitaki a housekeeper.
